Has anyone used these? I bought these to eliminate parasites, but I saw the country of origin is China. I’m just not sure what to think here. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks!

My (38/f) divorce finalized yesterday. I moved on a while ago. When I got married in August of 2025, I was ready to be a wife, ready to commit myself to my husband (32/m) and wanted nothing more than to please God. I thought my then-husband wanted the same thing (bc he said he did).
Fast forward a month later, he tells me he doesn’t want to be married and that he wants to live alone. I found he was on dating sites and talking to a few girls (as well as a married couple), and he was still addicted to porn, the very thing he told me he overcame). He also told me he lost attraction to me and that he wished I was thinner. I put us into counseling right away bc I didn’t want to just give up. I was ready to fight for our marriage. Well, even though he said he wanted to work it out, after a couple months of therapy, he told me that he did not. So I told him that I’m done. Romance is closed and I’m not opening back up to him. He moved out a few months later.
Yesterday, we had our final hearing and our marriage is legally over. He texted me today and seemed willing to work on things and wondered if I still see us together. I had biblical grounds for ending the marriage. I’ve also learned over time that we’re unequally yoked.
I guess I’m wondering why he’s doing this. I don’t want to go back to him. Am I wrong for that?!
I’m still on a high from last night’s show! It was absolutely incredible. Here are the bullet points:
-Ash wore “Kill the Depression” shirt
-“Start Over” was the secret song
-Thunderstorm right before the show, but it cleared up right on time
-The guys’ solo songs hit hard (ofc)
-“Bad Omens” and “Ghost of You” were on another level
I especially loved how they each played their instruments for each other’s solos. You can really see how they support each other. They leaned into the boyband theme and it was hilarious and fun. Everyone on this tour works so hard and you can tell. 15 years in and they’re still crushing it! Also the crowd were some of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time. 💕
I just started listening in late May and have just been in love with the music. I had an extremely tough year last year when my mom almost died twice…and when getting married only to find out my husband didn’t want to be married and started cheating. Well, the divorce is almost final and mom is doing great and I want to do things I enjoy.
This is one of those things…but I also might be going solo and being in the lawn area. Is it good for solo fans? I’ve only ever gone to concerts with someone and never a concert this large.
I’m a newer fan — Just started listening in maybe early May. 5SOS has been helping me through a divorce and potential job change, and just life stuff. Well, I hadn’t really heard them very much prior to this year, but they got me! Once I heard “Easier”, that was it! Then I heard “Youngblood”, then “Teeth” and omg, then “EAS!”
YT showed me just how much I have them on repeat. 💕
Love this community btw!
I recently received a message from a recruiter at The Connor Group and I must say, I’m intrigued. The pay seems great, but I have some reservations. The job would be as an executive admin. Can anyone shed some light? Did you have a good experience? Bad? I want to get more objective info before officially applying. Thanks!
I was recently contacted by a recruiter for a position I believed would be right for me at this point in my life and career. I currently work in legal tech and help attorneys and legal departments implement AI tools into their workflow, get buy in, and make them more efficient. I know and employ all the ethics around responsible AI use. I teach classes on it. So I was perplexed when I was told I didn’t get this other job because they felt I used AI.
In the interview, I asked specifically about using AI to make the job more efficient. They said they encourage it. So when I had a day in the field, I had to write a letter to one organization, talking about the CEO of this particular one. There was a lot of information I didn’t already have, so I used AI to help me get that relevant information, as well as how to best format it all. Because I wanted to be efficient with the short time I had.
Well come to find out, I didn’t get the job because they felt I used AI and said that I deleted the history on the computer. I didn’t delete a single thing because I used my phone, beginning the day prior so I could begin to gather ideas.
Am I crazy here or are we not in a world where orgs want people to use AI to make them more efficient? I’ve been working with it long enough now that it’s second nature, so I’m literally perplexed. I’m willing to admit that I use it daily, but never to DO the work for me. Maybe I would have had to literally teach this org how to use it. I really don’t get it.
Kind and helpful feedback is much appreciated.
Edit to add: They gave me basic information a few days prior and I used my personal phone to find what was already out there. No sensitive information was shared with me and I didn’t share any with AI. That’s where the problem would be if there was one. But this was to find information that I didn’t know, that’s publicly available. No security issues.
Montgomery County: My soon to be ex husband and I just turned in our dissolution paperwork and for many reasons, I want this to be over. Does anyone know the average time it takes for a dissolution (assuming our paperwork is correctly filled out this time)?
We’re very amicable and he even signed an interim agreement. There’s no contention and everyone is all good with how things are split already. We didn’t get to filing right away because paperwork is always up to me and I had a lot of life stuff hit. Maybe I’m just impatient, but I’m eager to be done.
Thanks for any advice or insight!
My mom had a stroke a year ago and she lives with me as I’m her caretaker. She’s one of my heroes, but lately has been so hard to talk to. I work from home most of the week and get interrupted quite a bit for seemingly trivial things. I’m so happy she’s here and is doing well, but her emotions are very close to the surface some days. On those days, I find myself wanting to be out of the house so I can do other things. I feel spread very thin and have recognized when my body feels stress. It’s mostly when she’s asking for something or telling me I’m being mean (when I’m actually just being direct) and she does this when I stand up for myself.
I don’t think she’s trying to be mean herself. She’s not a mean person. But her emotions are so close to the surface and she’s still working on speech, so it makes the whole thing difficult.
I guess I just need to know I’m not alone and see if there’s any help out there. It’s tough being a caregiver and working full time, trying to move forward in your career, build a family, all that.
I know I might be considered late to the game, but I’ve always wanted to discover an artist when I was ready. I heard a few 5sos songs before, but never really heard them.
Then as I was reeling from my divorce, I heard Easier and then I started to listen to more: Old Me, Teeth, She Looks So Perfect, Everyone’s a Star. I was hooked. It’s my first time really hearing them and I just want every time I hear any of their songs to feel like the first time.
These guys are a gift to music. Just wanted to share. 💜
