I have a string line running ~188 ft. I don't care about the dip in the middle, but the wind messes with it.

Should I just put up a stake in mid run keep the wind from moving the string too much?

Every place I've lived in this town has lacked ceiling fans. I get not having AC but no fans? Is it a landlord liability to have fans? Seems like such a good solution when it gets hot.
