An insane electric storm just happened! We were watching TV and, suddenly, we heard the loudest thunder of my life, it was insanely loud! Immediately, the wifi connection died and we realised that the modem was completely dead. We called our cable company and they told us that the modem usually runs on 12V and it received a sudden charge of 50V, so makes sense why it got fried. I know that the PS5 can take up to 240V; however, I don’t know what the actual charge of the lightning was, I have surge protectors and my TV and PS5 seem to be running fine, but I’m a bit worried because the PS5 was on rest mode and it did turn off after the lightning strike. Also, not sure if it’s relevant, but I live in an apartment building so I have no idea where the lightning actually struck or if anyone else was affected by it. Am I in the clear since it turned on, or could there be damage later on? Is there any way to check for potential damage? Thanks in advance!

I just got the game and I finished the tutorial, I got stuck on the spirit box part because no matter what I did, it never registered my voice. I had the voice option turned on in settings, turned off all the lights, and tested my controller to check that my microphone was working. The lights never blinked on the spirit box either, so I know it wasn’t registering, the only way I was able to finish the tutorial was by changing the settings to text. Is there a fix for this? I did research but I haven’t found any solutions other than turning on the text. I’m honestly so disappointed since this is one of the coolest features of the game and the text completely breaks the immersion. Any advice will be highly appreciated!

Since Control is leaving ps plus soon, I decided to play it and I loved it so much that I’m trying to do as much as possible within the game. The only thing I’m knowingly missing is the Tomassi fight (but only because I don’t want to get the platinum trophy yet). I feel like I’ve done everything else though: I finished the main game, only have the one trophy left for platinum, 100% both DLCs, visited every secret location, did all the side missions, did the secret puzzles (TVs in furnace, cats, clock in AWE, both mirror room puzzles, vending machines, golden suit puzzle, and arcade), plus all the jukebox expeditions.

Is there anything else you guys know of that I haven’t done yet? Every search I’ve done online suggests that there’s nothing else; however, there’s so many hidden things that I feel like there might be more and would love to do it if there is!
