Does every military branch make new enlistees go through a “break-in” period

In the Coast Guard, after you graduate boot camp and arrive at your first unit, you’re treated as a “break-in,” a period where you basically have to stand extra watches every day until you earn a certain number of qualifications. I was just curious if the other branches do something similar or if that’s just unique to Coast Guard
