Darkshipping was not even mentioned in the post or the comment it was responding to. They just assume we support a certain police group in America. (Not saying name just in case.) Why are antis like this?
So, some characters I want to write about are not exactly nice to women or lgbt+ people. Often because of. Their own rough situations, being jerk characters, or because of the time period. Is it okay to keep those traits as long as I clearly don‘t approve of it irl? I obviously am just writing the characters, not approving real life versions of their actions. It is just I have seen people tone characters like that down to make them seem more anti friendly. I know this is not ship related. But it is anti censorship and don‘t like don’t read related. So I thought it would be okay to ask here.
Edit: Thank you for the advice and encouragement. I will keep the characters the way they are and not change them to appeal to antis. Both for canon characters and ocs.
So, Hogan is a US army Air force Colonel from the series Hogan's Heroes. That is why it is military and business themed. I was so excited to find merch of keychains themed after him! As it is very hard to find any merch. I love him so much so having something of him makes me happy.
So basically, they added a rule this year to make most DNIs allowed on artfight. Now I am fine with people using them on social media. But in an art event I feel like it will just cause drama and less chances to make art. Might stick to art trades or something similar instead.
I just love how morally ambiguous yet devoutly loyal he is. Cavendish is such a interesting guy. He does like to tease and but I know he means no harm.
