Trying to find an artist that actually posts their work on darker complexions/color work as well around Madison wi. It always throws me off at the lack of diversity on an artists page because us people of color want tats too and to be able to visualize work on ourselves as well!

I have gotten multiple tattoos now (similar to the vibe of the artists page and work ofc) and they’re NEVER posted and I wonder why. So please drop some names if you know of anyone🙏🙏

Back in high school from sophomore year until graduation, my dad (who has severe authoritarian tendencies/loved to control me in any way possible) would wake me up no matter how early nor late to “do the dishes” or “clean the bathrooms” or any chore he thought I needed to do at that instant. and it always felt so frustrating because he would never do it to my older brother. It’s like he LOVED having the ability to tell me to wake up and do chores after a full day of school and work afterwards. God forbid my 16 year old self was so exhausted. Not to mention the household size was 7 and when I asked my dad if we could put our dishes straight into the dishwasher instead of leaving piles for me at the end of night when I get back home and would be tired, it would cause chaos.

What the fuck is up with that seriously, let your kids sleep.
