People have got to stop asking about sexual and genital preferences in other trans subs

It literally just ragebaits me. Ive contemplated blocking *that* sub so many times because its always a post like "Im cis but Im only attracted to trans men that look like women with big boobs under their tomboy binders and trans women who love talking about their big gocks and being on top of me! I only like men who look like women and women who look like men! Am I a chaser? I-I-I dont wanna be a chaser! Waaah! I'm an ally!"

What the fuck is the point. I struggle not to blow up in the comments every single time because its just not worth it. Sexual preferences are always a difficult conversation because you *cant* police it no matter what or youre scummy trans propagater that wants me to pretend like your genitals arent what they are!! Youre oppressing me and my preferences!! Preferences arent a crime!! This is why everyone hates you guys!!

So why do people keep making these fucking dumb posts asking if theyre chasers. If you are one then are you going to what? Change your preferences on the spot? Just dont talk about it at all like every other fucking fetish. Youre not a "good one" for recognising that you push your fetish onto other people who dont have the same. Why is it that in other subreddits you dont see people being like "I only want to date people from this group. Hello people from this group. Is it wrong I fetishize you?" What do you expect. Im tired of babying cis people and trying to be the nice calm trans. If youre a chaser you will always be one so keep that bs to yourself on your twitter timeline, nobody wants to talk about that shit with you in public.

My dad refuses to understand my medical transition. Can I do something to help him? Should I?

Honestly, I'm just asking for questions sake. Because I'm (19FTM) going to be taking testosterone and I'm going to be trying my hardest to have the best transition possible no matter what my parents say because it is truly life or death for me. But tonight, I had a conversation with my parents because I got the first steps and overall information about HRT from my doctor recently and my mom pressured me into giving all of the information to my dad. We decided to go through the entire packet of information together just to be honest and open. I really dont mind this, I'm open to questions and I was expecting them to discuss the cardiovascular-related risks because heart disease and all of that runs in the family. However it ended up being an embarassing and frustrating lecture from my dad about how I dont know how to make such a big descision, him dismissing my research and certainty about every aspect of HRT since I knew what it was at age 14. I'm 19 now, and I know exactly what I'm talking about and expressed that my uncertainties are no problem handled by simply talking with my doctor. I'm an adult and can admit that, but I'm not naive. I know the risks. But he didn't listen at all, insinuated he still sees me as my daughter and grossly obsessed over the bottom growth saying it would hurt me. He didn't say a word about the risks that come with our genetic history of diabetes or anything important, just mentioning the permanent growth over and over again as if it would ruin my life. Every time I tried to show him the LITERAL information in the packet my doctor gave me, try to explain something or reassure him of what can be permanent or not, prevenatble ect., he would just admit multiple times that he is scared by HRT and will always be scared and that he doesn't want to understand it but he will "support" me aka not harassing me about it. I know he is ignorant and just wants the best for me, but I cant get his outburst at me out of my head. He implied he still sees me as his daughter (only due to a minor slip up did he blurt Daughter-I MEAN "CHILD"!) and would make disgusted faces throughout. Is there a way to settle his ignorance about my medical transition? Or do I just accept the fact that he is going to be willfully ignorant no matter what I do?
