TCS Digital Interview Experience (Campus Placement) – July 2026

Digital interview today, so I thought I'd share my experience.

The interview started on a positive note. The interviewer complimented my dressing sense and overall professional appearance before asking me to introduce myself.

While I was giving my introduction, someone entered the room and interrupted us briefly, but I continued and completed it confidently.

Since I had highlighted Data Structures & Algorithms in my introduction, most of the technical discussion revolved around DSA. I was able to answer all the DSA questions they asked.

They then moved to my projects and backend development experience. I was asked about REST APIs and the HTTP methods. I also discussed my backend work. Another question was to swap two numbers without using a third variable, which I solved.

After the technical discussion, the interviewer said, "Going good." That definitely boosted my confidence.

Next, the Managerial Round started. The key question was:

"Why should we prefer you over the other candidates waiting outside?"

I initially answered that I'm hardworking, loyal, and goal-oriented. The interviewer challenged me by saying that everyone claims to be goal-oriented.

I replied, "There is a difference between saying and doing. I genuinely believe I am truly a goal-oriented person."

After that, the HR asked only two questions:

  • Are you open to relocation (South India)?
  • Are you comfortable with night shifts?

I answered Yes to both.

Overall, the interview lasted around 20–25 minutes and felt quite positive. Now I'm waiting for the results.

There were approximately:

  • Digital: 17 candidates
  • Prime: 67 candidates
  • Ninja: Around 67 candidates

I'd love to hear your opinions:

  • How does this interview sound?
  • Based on your experience, what are my chances of getting selected for TCS Digital?

Thanks in advance!
