Hello!! Reposting since I deleted the old subreddit…

I’ve decided to enroll at the red school by next week after giving much thought about it + weighing my options. Unfortunately, I missed out on the Freshmen Orientation Day but I was able to submit some of my documents last week and receive my log in details right after.

I just have a few questions that i would like to ask fellow freshies who enrolled recently:

1. How is the Orientation Day last week?
2. How do I view the payment terms after logging in my portal? I changed my password but not quite sure on how to pre-reg and see the payment terms..?
3. After paying the tuition fee onsite, do I get my class schedule and syllabus or is it a waiting game? Lol what’s next?
4. Any other important ganap this coming week? When do I actually show up to class?

Appreciate all the help you would give me regarding my queries! Hoping to connect / be mutuals on socials with the soon to be batchies too!

Hello! Need advice lang sana from working law students or graduates. 🥹
I’m an incoming law student and I’m trying to figure out if magiging realistic ba yung setup ko.
Current work setup:
• Flexi hours, pero kailangan maka-complete ng 10 hours/day
• 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH
• Office is around 10–15 minutes away from UST (jeep or Angkas lang)
Ang naiisip kong schedule is pumasok sa work ng 7:00 AM hanggang around 4:30 PM (mag-uundertime nang kaunti para may allowance bumiyahe papuntang UST). Then if classes are until 9:00 PM, uuwi na after that. The next day, work ulit ng 7:00 AM.

Sa mga may similar setup before:

* Kaya ba talaga siya in the long run?
* Kumusta yung tulog niyo and overall energy?
* Nakaapekto ba sa grades or work performance?
* Any survival tips for balancing a full-time job with UST Law?

Hindi naman sobrang layo ng work ko sa school kaya feeling ko possible siya sa commute aspect. Ang concern ko talaga is yung sunod-sunod na 7 AM work tapos 9 PM dismissal sa law school. 😭

Would really appreciate honest experiences—whether kinaya niyo or if you wish you did things differently. Thank you!

Hi!! I have a dilemma at the moment and been overthinking about it…

I passed SBU COL and reserved my slot already, but am still waiting for UST FCL to release their final decision for the waitlisted applicants 😭 sayang din kase since FCL remains my prio school for various reasons… I gave my letter to the Dean’s Office last Monday and Im aware that they need to finish all applications before they proceed w reconsidering their WL applicants.

Worst case for SBU is that I might stretch it to late enrollment until i receive an update from UST FCL.

Based on intel and the calendar from last SY, SBU did have late enrollment. For reference, Enrollment this year for SBU is from July 1-11 and classes start on the 13th.

To those from SBU COL, i have a few questions in mind:

1. Is there late enrollment for this school year? Until when will this be? Can I skip the july 1-11 enrollment period first? If u can DM me the updated school calendar, then that would be great
2. What happens during the first week of classes? When do profs enter and hold actual classes? lol
3. If ever there is a late enrollment and i come in after a week or two, will it be risky for me to catch up w my classes?
