Help with Thuja Green Giants

So we planted 6 of these about a month and a half ago and they’ve been doing terribly ever since and don’t know if they’re past the point of repair. We can’t seem to get them to sit straight in their holes and have been staking them and had to replant two from being too tilted.
The night before last we had pretty heavy winds paired with a long thunderstorm and when I came home in the morning one had fallen completely and others were crooked again lol.

Upon observing the fallen soldier I noticed the water was not draining like at all so I pulled it out of her hole and there was probably just 10in to a foot of water pooled in there.

We’ve decided to pull them out, till the area to remove any grass, and try to make the soil have better drainage. We originally just used black kow compost dirt to fill around the plants but obviously that was not the move.

How would you guys recommend we go about fixing the drainage issue? Do you think they’re even able to be saved at this point? They’re looking pretty sad and some are browning more than others. I also clearly have no green thumb so any advice is appreciated.

*Also upon inspecting the hole this morning, the soil is boyant but I can no longer see the waterline

The people of Costco

Why do people choose to crowd the Costco entrance 10-15 minutes prior to opening? It’s not even a line, it’s a crowd. Only a handful of the 60+ (I stopped counting) people out there brought items which I’m assuming they wish to return - and that I get because that return line can be agonizingly long. But the others? I don’t understand. Is there a hot new drop I’m missing this fine Monday morning? Or is it the dogs?
I’ll admit I was the first patron in the lot this morning, but the lot was nearing full prior to their opening. I was already on this side of town so decided I would just wait in my car so I didn’t have to come back up here later to get my things, gas is expensive yk. But of the two times I’ve done this - the other time being in South Dakota - it was the same situation. At least the people at the South Dakota Costco were in a real line. But still I was flabbergasted at the time. Now I just feel like it’s the same thing every day?

If you line up outside of Costco before their opening, why?

ETA FOR YOU EARLY BIRDS: I’m just curious, it was only a question. Crowding at the door isn’t harming anything, I just wanted to know why some of yall start so early that is all !!

New SSD in central Ohio?

Does anybody know when the Groveport SSD came about? Also, why does it have lower pay than all three .com stations and the Lockbourne SSD? The .com stations are almost always lower pay than VOH3 but for this to be even lower than those?
