SANSUI AU-417 Full Restoration – Part 2: Progress Update

Here’s Part 2 of the AU-417 full restoration I posted about a couple of weeks ago. The shop owner just sent me an update with these photos. It turns out the amp was in much worse condition than I expected, but I think they’re doing a pretty amazing job for $280. Curious to hear what you guys think.

I got this used TCR100 Solar 39mm (Ice Blue) today for $245. It has a few scratches, but was it a good buy?

SANSUI AU-417 Full Restoration

I dropped off my SANSUI AU-417 at a neighbor shop last Saturday for a full restoration. It's going to cost $280. Is this old integrated amp worth that much?
By the way, I live in Jakarta and I bought this amp about 5 months ago for around $170.
