Does anyone know if “Donner Park” is going ahead?

Does anyone know if “Donner Park” is going ahead?

The parking lot in front of Choptank. I did not know this was part of the City Dock revitalisation plan, but it is on accessannapolis.com

But I have not seen mention of this other park elsewhere?

I think Maryland’s towns are underrated nationally

I was born here, moved away and now planning to return.

There are so many charming, walkable towns (and hamlets) in Maryland that I have been fortunate enough to explore over the last year.

Annapolis
Chestertown
Easton
Oxford
Rock Hall
Solomons Island
St Michael’s

I would like to visit Berlin, Hagerstown and Frederick next. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Is Cambridge nice?

(Also on my list is Chesapeake City and Havre de Grace.)

Incorrect signature or other reason to deny petition?

I filed in February, just wondering now have I filed incorrectly in a way that will lead to denial after the long wait…

I filed I-130 entirely online through the portal. The petitioner signature can then be electronic and not wet ink?

I cannot recall how I signed the I-130 form online now.

Also, I submitted I-130a (I forget the details of all the forms now) but I see my beneficiary’s signature there is an e-signature. Would that lead to denial? Could I resubmit with wet ink now if needed?

(Is there anything else that leads to auto-rejection?)

Mover to British Columbia, the license exchange

Hi, I am planning a move to British Columbia. I currently live in Ireland with my spouse.

I have a US license (held for over 10 years), and my spouse has an Irish license (held for 1 year).

Would we both be able to avail of the license exchange? What documents would we need?

(Apologies if this answer is easily found elsewhere, I could not find a clear answer.)

British citizenship eligible for NI-born Irish question

My husband was born in NI to Irish-born (ROI) parents. He has an Irish passport.

He applied for a British passport on the basis of birth in NI but was rejected as his birth certificate lists his parents’ residence in the ROI.

They were not considered to have settled status at the time of birth (i.e. if his parents had an address in NI on his birth certificate, then his British passport application would have been approved).

I am wondering.

His mother was born ~1970 in ROI. But her grandmother was born in Liverpool ~1900. Would his mother be considered a UK citizen in her own right due to her grandmother, thus making my husband a UK citizen due to birth in NI to a UK citizen (his mother)?

The route I am planning in the next year, any tips?

I am moving after and think this would make a good trip while I have time to spare. I am planning for June (in 2027).

My idea is fly to Rome, then train to Genoa, Turin, Lyon, London, (Cornwall?), and Inverness before flying home.

Has anyone here followed a similar route? Any tips?

I have been to England so I am most familiar there. I would like to visit Cornwall (I have never been south of Devon) and then travel back to London for a bedroom (two people) on the Caledonian Sleeper to Inverness.

Replacement tenant admin fee

Hi, quick question. I am moving out of a house share. I found a replacement tenant. My lease agreement provides for this replacement.

However, the agency has said they will not begin the administrative work of a tenancy replacement until I pay the relevant fee of €200 plus VAT. There is no mention of a fee in my lease.

Is the fee legal for them to impose if it is not specifically included in the lease? Do I have any recourse?

Thanks.
