Looking to get my first Abarth. I’m in the UK - coming from an S2000 so want a 595c.
Is there a secret society of Abarth buy and sell somewhere or is it just PistonHeads, Autotrader etc?
Have read about buying unmodified, cambelt and service history importance…any other tips? Rust a problem?
Budget c£10k so hoping I can get something fairly low mileage and well looked after. Delusional?
Expect the answer is “whatever someone is willing to pay for it” but I’m listing my UK 2009 S2000 on PistonHeads for just under £17k and wanting some sage advice from the community if it’s in the ballpark.
Silver, 39,400 miles, 3 owners, hardtop, new roof, new tyres, 13 service stamps.
The wheels could do with repainting and there are a handful of marks on rear quarter panel that l think are from when someone has been clumsily putting the hardtop on.
Also, if it was a GT from the factory would it say on the v5? Any other way to identify if hardtop came factory fitted or aftermarket?
Selling as I have a 69 Opel GT to restore that will take up my garage and I can’t get my wife and two dogs in the S2000, and it’s not an option to trade them instead.
