I'm trying to make marshmall from marshmallow root, but it didn't fluff and everything settled to the bottom?

Hai okay, this is my first time ever making marshmallows and I followed The Homegrown Artists recipe. When I woke up this morning, it looked like this. Im not sure what happened. Can you help me not make the same mistake next time 😭💔 on the plus side, they taste pretty good!

Notes: I let's my marshmallow root sit for 3 days my bad

Edit: it has come to my attention, leaving it for 3 days Soaking is BAD. i will not be doing that again

My Dad wants me to use Ai to study in college but I dont want to

Hi, I am 19 F who is pursuing a degree in engineering. My father is non stop pressuring and convincing me to use Grok to study. He says to use it as my primary source of study material. I understand it can be a great study tool, but I perfer to read my textbooks and ask my professors. Through highschool I did fall of the AI trap, and I passed all my classes and yet learned nothing because of the cheating. Im so scared of falling into that loop again.

Today he interrupted my study session to show me Grok and explain and summarize the concept on the page. Great well no shit it was already written ON THE PAPER. I explained I'd rather not use it knowing my tendencies and I know I study better when a person explains it to me.

We got into a fight about it and he huffed off saying I didn't know what I was talking about. I dont know what to do...do I just use it and appeal to him? He is paying for everything after all, Idk is it really as good as he makes it out to be?
