What would’ve happened if Smoke got turned instead of Stack?

I’ve always wondered how the events of the film would’ve played out if Smoke was turned instead of Stack; probably could’ve forced a character change in the more carefree twin.

Also would be interesting to think about what if both/neither twin got turned. Maybe if Stack got the chance to understand what they were up against, he would’ve locked in. Obviously I know only Stack turning makes the most sense narratively speaking, but it’s still interesting to think about.

Two details I noticed when rewatching Jurassic Park

So I was rewatching Jurassic Park yesterday in honor of Sam Neill (as I’m sure everyone else was) and I noticed 2 new details that I thought were pretty cool and haven’t seen before. I can’t post the clips I took so I settled with screenshots.

  1. When Alan is getting out to distract Rexy with the flair, you can also see Ian climbing to the back of the car to get *his* flair. Small detail but I love when realistic actions like that are caught.
  2. When the Dilophosaurus opens its frill, you can see the strings that they used to open it up on the animatronic.

Again, RIP to the goat Sam Neill, he made Jurassic Park what it is, and Alan is now up there with John Hammond, still telling him that he won’t endorse his park.

Why are the snap points like this??

I usually don’t do modular building that often, so when I tried to add a little extra flair to the tour track, I get hit with this. Like, why would trim pieces ever need to be attached like that? 🙃

Motion sickness during jet ski sections

So I recently finished replaying UC1 and I don’t know why but this was the first time I felt what I think is motion sickness from the jet ski sections. And I think it’s from them because I felt queasy only after those sections.

The camera and controls for the jet ski are also quite janky which is another reason I think it’s from those sections. Has anyone else had this happen?
