Trying to sort a lunch for work with a £15 a head max spend in Soho

Hi all

My work is letting us do a team building day along Tottenham Court Road and I’ve been tasked with sorting lunch for the 10 of us, but the main complication is a hard £15 a head cap on spend (£150 total)

I’ve looked about and have a shortlist from places I know and have been to but would really appreciate any extra recommendations!

- BOA - they have the £15 set menu (might be an issue as no drink)

- Bar Bruno - most sandwiches and drink should come to less than £15

- Breadstall - £150 would get about 5 whole pizzas from there which should be enough but again lack of drinks might be an issue. Could grab less pizzas but unsure how cost effective that will be a making sure everyone has enough to eat.

- Arcade Tottenham Court Road - this one seems the most promising as the £15 lunch deal comes with a drink and there’s a lot of options however I’ve had mixed results from going there before and the reviews are similarly mixed

- 7 Dials - like with the arcade this would be good from a verity standpoint however there might be a logistical issue of getting all the food with the same corporate card with all the receipts.

The death of tables in stores (not just GW stores)

This morning I had a cancellation email from Element Games saying that from next week their London store will no longer have any tables available to book.

It seems this has been a common theme thats been going on for some time of stores no longer offering table space to book, and outside of dedicated wargaming groups who tend to meet on specific nights, table space is becoming a scarce offering.

GW has long had a policy of not offering pick up games in most of their stores and I just wanted to say that the death of tables in stores is a real shame and to me at least reduces the role of stores in fostering and supporting a community.

Curious to see if this is just an England (mainly London and surrounding areas) issue and if people have any suggestions for places to play in London especially near to a Lizzy line station as bad moon seems to be the only other option and are a bit of a pain to get to.

So with the guard artillery company you can mix and match basilisks and manticores.

While their firepower is broadly similar when averaged out over 2 turns, the manticores have disrupt while the basilisks don’t.

If I took a 7-2 mix of basilisks to manticores and had the 2 manticores alternate turns firing I’d still be outputting 9 BP a turn (same as 9 basilisks) but my question is would I also get disrupt on those attacks?
