Older cat playing too rough with kitten

So I got a new kitten about a week ago. Did the jackson galaxy method and they’re now completely comfortable with each other, eating, napping etc. but when they play it can only last about 5 seconds before my kitten is screaming and hissing. My older cat is pinning her down and biting her on various parts of her body and it seems to be like pretty hard bites. I have to constantly correct my older cat but there has been zero improvement. I know it’s been a short amount of time but does anyone have any advice or similar experience that turned out better? I can tell my older cat wants to play so badly but it turns out bad 95% of the time
