Question in SWR

Had a question asked of me today by an employee and didn't know the answer, so wanted to ask here. He has a taxable account of 1.2, but a 401k of 300k. He is wanting to step back to part time and is 48 years old. His question is when calculating for a SWR should he do 1.5 million with 401k included or just the taxable portfolio since he isn't 59 yet. I know there are ways to take 401k early but didn't know the rules. Opinions on how you would calculate it

Bonds and reinvestment

Hello everyone, question on bonds. People use bonds as a measure to sale when the market is down to buy more equities. My question is if you are holding say 20% or your portfolio in bonds, are you selecting the reinvesting option or do you let those payouts go to HYSA to buy more equities? I know we are supposed to rebalance, so figured I would reinvest. Just want to make sure I'm making the right choice. Thanks everyone

Bond Etfs

Is anyone selling their bond etfs? I keep hearing yield this and yield that. I left my EJ advisor in December of last year and took over my own finances through Fidelity, he had me right at a 400k spread between PIMIX, BND, and BSV. So far I'm 10%, I wanted to raise that to 20% as I plain on retiring in 4 years. I truthfully don't understand much about Bonds other than seeing negative red on my Fidelity charts from it. Can anyone help me understand if this is good, should I buy more right now, or hold off, or even sale what I have? Equities I'm good on and have that down to a science, but starting to learn the bonds side of things. Thanks for helping anyway you can.

Use Heloc to flip or Cash

Hey everyone want your quick opinion. I have some funds sitting in SPAXX that I have been DCA since December. My homebuilder who I have been successfully able to make money with has found another home to flip, fortunately he has a buyer already she just can't get her loan until the house is livable. My investment will be 130k with a guaranteed 160k paid to me at the 4 month closing mark. If not closed in 4 months I get to keep the house as usual. Just a little back story, now my question is I have always used cash from my investments to do this over the last 3 years, but with my DCA the last 6 months I only have about 150k in Spaxx left, if you were in my shoes would you use the heloc I have on my home which I have never used to cover the 130k, its at a 6.75 rate, or pull the funds from Spaxx? My home is paid for and has 0 debt. Thanks everyone for your opinions
