Need help understanding seller return financials.
I just sold a mini-fridge on eBay, and the same day, before I sent out the fridge, the buyer changed their mind and requested a refund.
I would accept the refund, but I’m confused- it states that only $151 would be refunded from my “eBay” wallet, and that I’d have to pay $22 out of pocket in order to approve the refund. Is this because they already took their cut despite doing absolutely nothing useful? Or am I hopefully just mislead? I figured they took their cut after an order was completed.
It seems it defaulted me to a no-refund policy, so should I just decline the refund and send the fridge anyway? Or would it be better to pay the extra and just re-list it for extra?
