WILL DOOM 2016 RUN ?

I have an Intel Core i3-1125G4 processor, 8GB of single-channel DDR4 RAM, Intel Xe integrated graphics, and I’m running Windows 11. I recently bought DOOM during the current steam sale and was wondering whether my laptop can run it smoothly, and what kind of performance or settings I should expect.

[REQUEST] [STEAM] VICTORIA 2

Hello GoG,

This is my first time posting here, and I’d really love the chance to play Victoria II.

I’ve always enjoyed grand strategy games from Paradox interactives , especially Europa Universalis IV and Stellaris. EU4 was actually my first Paradox game, and I ended up enjoying the genre way more than I expected. Spending hours managing countries, expanding, dealing with diplomacy, and creating alternate history scenarios became surprisingly addictive for me.

One of the main reasons I want to try Victoria II is because of its economy system. From what I’ve seen, it looks much deeper and more detailed than the systems in EU4, and that aspect of the game really interests me. I like strategy games where managing your country actually feels important instead of just focusing on wars all the time.

Another thing that makes Victoria II appealing to me is the huge amount of community support and mods it has built up over the years. A game having over a decade of mods and an active community says a lot about how good and replayable it is. I’d love to try some of the popular overhaul and alternate history mods people still talk about today.

There’s also the fact that it would run really well on my potato laptop compared to newer strategy games. A lot of modern games are difficult for my system to handle, so older Paradox titles are great for me since I can actually enjoy them smoothly.

Thanks for reading, and have a great day!

I have an Intel Core i3-1125G4 running Windows 11 with 8GB DDR4 RAM and Intel UHD 620 graphics. I really enjoyed games like Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3, Europa Universalis IV, and Tales of Immortal, and I’m also a fan of WWE games.

Can you recommend games from different genres that will run smoothly on my PC, preferably with good performance and stable FPS?

I recently got access to NVIDIA GeForce Now, but after checking my Steam library, I realized I don’t own many games that I can actually play on it.

I can contribute around 100 rupees per month for access to games like Europa Universalis V and other good titles. I understand it’s not a huge amount, but as a student, that’s what I can comfortably afford without affecting my other expenses.

If anyone is willing to share access or suggest a good setup within this budget, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
