I usually note the start and finish dates of my paintings. Today I finished a marathon painting. I started early December. Had to take a couple weeks for a death in the family. Then there was Christmas. Then the “blizzard of 26” we got about 4” and it stuck around for about a week. I bugged out to warmer climes for the storm and when I returned home I had a series of unfortunate events including 2 collapsed lungs and a major surgery and 8 weeks recovery. I had to leave my home pack it up. Get rid of my stuff sell it and move 250 miles to be closer to Fambly ♥️. The thing I missed the most about where I used to live with a pair of Cardinals that have been coming to my birdfeeders for about five years. Were they the same to Cardinals? I don’t know, but I’ll say they were. So my daughter got me a pair of cardinal diamond dots which I did during my recovery. Once they were done, I went back to work on this one, and I finished it today. My darling granddaughter bought me a custom diamond dot of the whole family well me and my grandkids not the whole family and that’s what I’m doing next. But for a little one, this took a long time, December till September.

Laying eggs on the side of the road. There is a lot of work going on in this area. Do I need to report?
