Guide for Smooth Refresh Rate

Hello Fellow Shadowers

Here is a Guide that I rehash every year for new Subscribers,

First thing's first

We need to test for what I call Streamer Stutter

Find a page that has a lot of wording

Click the middle mouse button and slowly pan up or down the screen. What you are looking for is what I call streamer stutter, it's a annoying little stutter that normally occurs every 2 ms, it will be a slight hitch. If you notice the hitch you know you have streamer stutter. Here is the fix that will make it go away

Download CRU Utility

Open Cru Utility

Under Detailed Resolutions

Click on Add

Add whatever resolution you are using

At the bottom click on Refresh rate

For 60Hz, Type 62.000

For 120 either 119.000 or 121.000

For 144 either 143.000 or 145.00

and on and on it goes.

add your refresh rate and click ok

in the Cru Utility folder double click on Restart64.exe this will restart your GPU driver and implement your new settings

You can also use Cru Utility for adding custom resolutions if you don't want to use Nvidia DSR or want to down sample from a different resolution or different aspect ratio. You can also use CRU Utility to change your aspect ratio, or change to a different resolution and then get new down sampled resolutions from the newly implemented default resolution.

▲ 12 r/Visible

Hello Fellow Visible users

Service Start: December 2024

Today's Date 05/06/26

current Service: Recently switched from Visible to Visible Pro

Service Quality: Service has been excellent, No dropped calls, failed downloads or anything bad. Service has been 100 percent perfect. I'm also a doordasher who needs reliable data speed to complete my work orders. Service Quality is bar none a 10 out of 10

Price: There are 3 versions

Visible: 25$ a month, Unlimited everything, Hotspot limited to 5mbps but it's unlimited truly unlimited

Visible Plus $35 a month, Access to 5G Ultra wide which allows faster downloads and 10mbps speed on the Hotspot again Unlimited truly unlimited and tested teehee

Visible Pro $45, Getting spendy but it's dang worth it, Only real difference here is the 15mbps speed for Hotspot. I have been on this pro edition for the past 9 days and it's truly been a blessing. Our new internet won't be installed for another week due to them having their schedule full so we are at the bottom of the list thanks midco lol.

What I love most, the ability to be able to use Hotspot with not having to worry about time outs due to exceeding data, I have watched 4K movies, TV shows, gamed and it's taken every lick. No stuttering, pausing, just pure entertainment without the buffering. I have also used this service with my Shadow PC cloud gaming on my laptop and it's been perfect absolutely perfect. Just the hotspot alone is worth the 45$ a month especially if you are traveling and are far away from things like out in the country side.

TLDR: Visible Pro is the best way to go it's spendy at 45$ a month but it's truly worth it, drop those contracts and get on this it's truly worth it

Hello Shadowers I have noticed 2 known Glitches in Shadow as of the last I'd say month or 2.

Glitch 1: You Start up your Shadow and notice.... The internet connection is GONE but you are still able to use Shadow just not use the internet. This is New Glitch I have noticed that pops up every 5th or 6th start so at least 3 times a week over the past I'd say 2 months.

Glitch 2: Shadow randomly crashes out of the launcher and send you back to the launcher and then will say Shadow is Shutting down but will remain stuck even if you force close the app.

Fix that seems to affect both of these glitches

Open up Shadow.Tech, Login to your account: There should be a shut down icon next to your PC name, Click it, this should trigger a Automatic Shutdown. If this option doesn't work. Click on you Shadow's Storage area, click the little pencil next to your storage. Something should pop up saying it will need to shut down, click ok, this should also trigger a shut down. Wait at least 1 minute to 2 minutes for the PC to shutdown. Now relaunch and everything should work as per usual.
