Is it possible to switch from SEBS to SAS while on academic probation?
Pretty self explanatory based on title but here’s some more background:
I’m a transfer student as of 2025, and i originally was a biology degree at a community college and transferred to rutgers. Was doing great and everything was super chill.
I didn’t see school of biology so i just went SEBS as microbiology, and it was great until this year when i was really struggling and got put on academic probation…
I thought i could finish my degree but it’s just practically impossible with my SEBS credits i need, and honestly im regretting going into microbiology. I want to transfer into SAS but im on academic probation, so i can’t even make a new academic plan without showing i cant finish all my credits. Can i even transfer to a normal biology degree while im on academic probation? Do i need to wait? If so how long?
