What’s a core memory you hold dearly from Maplestory?

Mine is back in 2007 me and my best friend who got me into maple we hit level 36 and 38 together on our thieves and i remember exploring all of sleepywood and we found Jr Barlog we had no clue about “field bosses” we just explored and boom! There he was and as young teens of course we thought we could kill it and sure as hell we… did not lol we died 3x till a high level mage came by and just destroyed him

What’s up Maplers! Just curious on what class will you be choosing for Classic and Why?
Personally for me I’m going cleric right away because I have always enjoyed the “support” class/role in most games I played, this time I also plan on achieving something I never go to as a young kid which was taking down Zakum so knowing cleric is the only support class I’m hyped for the group sessions 👌🏻

I’m here to find a solid active guild for when Classic launches but I would like to join the discord first to see how active the guild is and to match vibes 👍🏼. I’ll be playing Cleric main and most likely I’ll be fairly active too, I also just wanna make friends for classic grind who are chill gamers & enjoy goofing around but also when the time comes to strap in we clear bosses and progress as a unit. I use to run a guild on WoW Classic that did lots of raids and fun game nights where we goofed around and just had a good time but this time around I rather just join a guild who genuinely enjoys gaming while chillin in discord and having fun together. Hello my fellow Maplers, it’s been a long time since I played Maplestory; I had quit shortly after cubes came out and potential gear destroyed the community aspect that Pre BigBang had given us growing up. The main reason why I am posting on Reddit for the very first time is because I was hoping to find old buddies who played on Khaini server back in those days, with classic coming out I was excited to potentially relive that childhood nostalgia Maplestory had given us back in early 2000s. I was a Sin named SinfulSnake and I reached level 142 I did hop around a few guilds but the ones I remember being a part of the most was a guild named Dream and another named CandyShop these were the 2 that I was in for the longest time doing boss runs/carries and being very social with. I was kinda hoping that some of the people I played with who maybe remember me or was a part of those guilds i mentioned that are thinking about playing classic if so we could reunite and play classic maple vibes as adults this time around. Hopefully this reaches out to a few people who might remember those times and we can chill in discord and speak of those memories. Classic maple will hit my inner child nostalgia like a train but I hope we can gather a few friends from the past who wanna start a guild together on Maple Classic.
