I've never gardened in my life. My husband and his Nana had matching tattoos of forget-me-nots and she passed a few months ago, and last week we noticed some growing in our back yard. It felt like a sweet little reminder of her. However, we're having some extensive landscaping done back there (to remove tons of blackberries). I'm sure they won't survive that, but I'd like to keep them. Any insight on care? Can they thrive in a pot? What size might it need to be?

Just thinning my floaters and shrimp, if anyone wants them! Floaters -2$ for a dish of them and shrimp 2$ each. They're random colors as they stray further from the lineage, but they're still super cute!

I've got a single nerite who is exclusively interested in my driftwood. It was beautiful when I first got it, a dark reddish brown and very textured. My nerite has stripped the entire thing down about a half a centimeter to reveal a light brown, now smooth interior. It's not bad looking, but I'm kind of disappointed. And it leaves all this nasty wood mulch underneath. Could my nerite just wittle it away to nothing? Or is there a layer that the nerite will be interested in?
