What are some things i'm supposed to check before/after getting my macbook screen replaced by a third party store?

My macbook pro m1 16" screen broke, cat bit into it while i was asleep but currently its just showing flickering lines and its not that bad so im waiting on it. I checked in with an AASP and they told me i have to pay the equivalent of around 1300$ to get it repaired, and im frankly not doing that. I found a good third party option for around 450$ that claims it has an OEM screen (its used so it has a few wear and tear but i'll see for myself before they put it on) for my macbook but its not a very popular center and I dont trust it too much, but its my only option.

do you guys recommend i should just go for it once my screen goes completely black and unusuable? what are some things i should check before/after i get it installed? i just have some safety concerns cause 450$ is still not that cheap and im afraid of them messing up my macbook completely.

just fyi upgrading is not an option because i got this macbook as a gift just recently and i really want to fix this one.

in "Merrily we roll along", Did Mary and Charley not know why Beth divorced Frank in "Now you know"?

This always confused me because Mary clearly knew Gussie was up to no good, but then when Beth and Frank got divorced Mary suddenly started victimizing Frank telling him that "life is just unfair" when its clearly just him reaping the consequences of his own actions. This kind of just makes Mary and Charley accomplices in the change Frank has gone through no?
