ACE question

I had an ACE on Thursday, August 6 with Leidos QTC where a doc asked questions about my weight gain and when it happened, because my supplemental claim asked for Sleep Apnea to be secondary to MDD w/ anxious distress and disordered eating using obesity as an intermediate condition.

Timeline:

Entry to service: weight 185

BMT graduation: weight 185

AIT graduation: weight 237

Mental health conditions develop

Exit from service: weight 260

Weight gain to 330

Diabetes diagnosis

Wife reported snoring

Sleep Apnea diagnosis

Weight gain to 385

Prescription for GLP-1

Current weight 325

I laid out this timeline to the doc. They asked if I was ever counseled for weight. I said no. VA hasn't received the doc's report. Is there a general timeline on ACE reports?

Good news and a question

I was rated at 80% today--upgraded from 50%. I was glad to see that my MH rating is 50% (I expected 50% or 70%). I was curious about an AMA filing. Does anyone know if the AMA filing means that I have a previously denied condition that can now be potentially claimed? Does it mean that I claimed something the wrong way here? For context, I was previously denied sleep apnea. Should I try to reclaim sleep apnea as a secondary to MDD with anxious distress?

PFD and losing my mind

I'm filing for mental health (the examiner said MDD with anxious distress and clearly service connected, but I don't count that until the rater says so too), back increase (herniated discs DDD), knee ROM secondary to back, and sciatic nerve secondary to back. It took me 18 years to file for MH, because the thought of filing would put me in a panic attack. I've been having adrenaline shits for the last 4 days.

Edit: thank you for your well-wishes. I'm up to 80% from 50%.

Mental Health C&P

I just finished my mental health C&P exam a little less than 3 hours ago. At the end of it I heard "I'm diagnosing you with Major Depressive Disorder with (something I didn't hear). There's a clear service connection." I'm glad that I'm getting a diagnosis and that there's a connection to my service, but I missed a piece of the diagnosis because I was in the middle of a panic attack. Can I find out what the missing piece is in the VA system or do I need to wait for a rating or do I need to ask for my C-file?

Does anyone have an idea what rating I might expect for MDD with panic attacks?

Step 4 back to Step 3

I had my claim examined by the AI, where exam data science opened and closed almost immediately. My claim got sent to Waco where a VSR just submitted an exam request. I feel like I'm going to throw up and have a heart attack all at the same time. It took me almost 20 years to be able to submit for MH.

I'm terrified of having to go through the exam process for MH. I'm medicating and I feel like I am having a panic attack just seeing the exam request, and not knowing what the request is for. My back and legs are fucked up. That's objective. There's imaging and an EMG along with an AFO on my right leg, and I walk with a cane. I'm kind of at my best right now, because I just got a steroid injection in my back.
