Persistent misfire

I recently bought an N54 and on the way home it started stuttering but only on idle since then I’ve replaced most gaskets (valve, ofh, tb and intake manifold)
Sparks and ignition coils

But the misfire is still there, I also have a code for misfire on cylinder 2,3,4 and misfire on multiple cylinders.

It only happens on idle, when driving it’s fine.
Doesn’t change with temperature

Fuel consumption is higher than expected which would point me towards an air leak but after inspecting all pipes and hoses I can’t find it.

Fuel pressure is also fine from what I’ve checked

Any suggestions please send them my way.

Dear Micky Mouse Flange..

If you have as much luck as me and the back of this lovely little connector shatters into 7 tiny pieces and falls down the hose don’t panic!

You can disconnect the pipe at the thermostat and attach a water hose on the top part to flush it out.

Just make sure to have a bucket.

This saved me a great amount of time but good luck putting the hose clip back onto the thermostat, those were very frustrating 20 minutes.

Am I doing it right?

The washer seized onto the power cable so I had to spin the whole alternator 😅

Bouncing revs

I know there isn’t one solution for this problem but whatever you think it is or it was on your n54 just let me know and I’ll check everything.

Thanks ☺️

Spark plugs are out now, covered in oil and almost seized in.

I’ll save you I promise

Just bought my dream N54, it broke down twice before I even got home.

Never meet your heroes…

Just kidding I’m looking forward to the journey ahead
(Stutter on idle and occasional shut down then the voltage regulator almost fried the car)

Any and all tips are most likely welcome.
