I just finished Blood Orange and I really enjoyed it. I am looking to start something quick next and I know her books tend to be fast paced thrillers.

Could you suggest one from these three?

Do you think it’s a good one for my Weekend read? I was in my reading slump for almost 2 weeks after reading GRAY AFTER DARK. I don’t know i didn’t like that book at all.

I’m starting to think I’m in the minority here because I’ve seen so many amazing reviews for this book but I’m just not connecting with it.

I’m currently on page 82 and I’m honestly struggling.
So far, it feels much more like a survival story than a thriller and I’m finding it a bit slow and if I’m being honest a little boring.

It’s just not giving me what I was expecting.
The thing is, I really don’t like DNF-ing books. I always want to give them a fair chance, especially when so many people love them.

So, if you’ve read this book, please motivate me! Without major spoilers, does it pick up? Is there a point where everything clicks and it becomes worth the investment? I’d genuinely love some encouragement from my fellow Redditors before I decide whether to keep going or finally call it quits ♥️

I’m thinking of picking it up for my weekend read since I love twisty, fast-paced thrillers that keep me hooked on a Saturday night.

The first two are by Holly Jackson, and the last three are by miss McFaden

Not really a Spoiler Discussion i guess but Last weekend I posted a few books and let fellow Redditors decide my weekend read. The overwhelming favorite was Local Woman Missing and I’m so glad I listened it turned out to be an incredible read. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

My only criticism is that the author tends to overexplain certain scenes and details. At times there are lengthy descriptions of things that don’t add much to the story which can slow the pacing and become a little repetitive. Aside from that it was a gripping,engaging thriller that definitely lived up to the hype.

I managed to read only one book this month because my schedule has been extremely busy. Could you recommend a book that’s gripping from the very first page and unlikely to make me want to DNF?

Onto my 6th book of the month. This time i asked my bf to pick from my TBR and he chose this. Have you guys read this?

any of you read this book or any other book by the author Iliana? This is going to be my first book of her. Can’t wait to see her style of writing.

I have read 6-7 books of Freida this year and some were really nice and hence bought “the intruder”

Others i bought purely on my Pinterest & Insta reel influence.

This is my fifth book of May and i have high hopes with this. If you have already read it how much you would rate this book?

Starting this right away as i love to spend my Friday’s night reading a good thriller. Anyone who wanna read this book or wanna talk about it?

Heard so much about this book and hence had to read it. But for me it was 7.5/10. I feel certain parts were too much stretchy.
