I made a new Unreal Engine 5 tutorial showing how to create a Button Puzzle System using Blueprints.
The system lets players press buttons in the correct order to solve puzzles and trigger events, making it useful for horror games and escape room style gameplay.
Tried something a bit different with this tutorial.
Instead of doing a longer Unreal Engine breakdown, I made a quick UE5 jumpscare setup under 3 minutes:
The goal was to keep it simple enough for beginners to quickly follow and use in their own horror projects.
Would love some feedback: is this kind of short tutorial useful, or does it feel too rushed?
I just finished a small series on building a game main menu, and the last part covers creating a full settings menu from scratch.
It includes things like graphics settings, audio sliders, and saving user preferences properly.

Involvement: I’m the developer of False Earth and have been creating it as a passion project.
After a lot of helpful feedback on my first teaser, I went back and worked on the game some more. Now one of my passion projects finally has a demo and a new trailer with more gameplay.
