First Album I've Connected With in a While

What it says on the tin. It's been a real hot moment since I've genuinely connected with an album on such an emotional level. Most music these days has the melody or the lyrics but I can't feel the soul.

The last time I connected with an album this way, it was Folklore by Taylor Swift. Since then, I have liked songs, but never the full album. Felt a bit like a desert out here.

Really have to give Noah a hand on this one. It's great having artists like this again.

Dentist Chipped my Tooth after Wisdoms?

I recently got my two left wisdoms out a week ago today. I had a lot of complications getting them out.

The pain after was excruciating. I was crying for hours and pain meds did nothing. Eventually a friend of mine gave me a very strong painkiller she uses and it helped.

Since then the pain has subsided a lot, but the last couple days it's less pain and more aches in the remaining two molars, specifically the first. It's the kind of pain you get if you eat something too cold, but it doesn't go away.

Now that the swelling is down, I ran my tongue over the first molar and noticed a kind of smooth dip down into the centre of the tooth. The edges feel sharp and jagged. It almost feels like a crater, and the same tooth on the other side is a completely different sensation.

Is there a chance the dentist chipped this tooth?

What do I do now? Do I need to get it looked at or will it just get better with time?

MEXT/Fulbright Scholarship Finalists: Anyone want to chat?

Hi all,

I'm 25f currently living in Japan, but am looking to return in October of this year to NZ. However, I would really like to apply for grad school overseas; this is mostly because I've personally found NZ universities to have a structure I don't really vibe with, and I feel my area of interest is not even remotely viable at NZ institutions.

I'm currently filling out the applications for both of the above, but am struggling to really comprehend how to choose universities, which comes first, and what scholarship does what. Call me disorganised, but whatever.

I'm wondering if any MEXT or Fulbright scholars here are interested in chatting in DMs and helping me answer a few questions? I'd really appreciate it!
