Ayahuasca use with indigenous cultures

I've done Aya many many times, mostly in America and the teaching surrounding it's use are pretty uniform as therapeutic and medicinal. Boy was I surprised when I went to Peru and saw how so many of the locals use it. I kid you not, they use it as a "Bruja", jilted lovers casting spells on exes or cursing co-workers they have personal beef with. It's heavy use as dark magic is very common in South America yet I never hear this talked about in America.

Transitioning off strict Keto

I've been on strict Keto for 8 months and have achieved my goal weight and really don't want to lose anymore. I noticed that when now I do eat anything with carbs, I immediately gain 4 pounds of water weight. I understand that a Keto diet prevents water bloat, heck I dropped 10 pounds the first month I started, but it seems the reverse it true. Anyone have tips on transitioning back to a traditional balanced low calorie diet without gaining so much water weight?

Playing Baldurs Gate using mods

Can someone explain to me why you bother playing this game while using a mod that improves your stats or gives you rare loot? I mean I used to play Halo on god mode when I was a child but what's the point? It's not that hard of a game out of the box.

Challenges making LMNT's electrolyte drink mix at home.

We all know LMNT posted their recipe on their website. I followed the instructions closely but noticed that the ingrediencies don't really mix well. The Potassium tends to harden and the magnesium malate tends to clump. Also the taste didn't compare to the store bought product. It didn't have that biting tang that's so delicious. What seemed to help was blending the mix in a Ninja then straining through a fine sieve. I also added citric acid powder. Even then, the tartness and taste only closely approximated what you buy in the store. Anybody have other suggestions?

Confession: Bored in the city of Baldur's Gate

I've played BG1 countless times and I have a wonderful time exploring all the vast expanses and random encounters, heck it's almost a meditation for me opening up every new map to see what critters are waiting for me, but as soon as I enter the town, it feels like a firehose of FedEx quests and tedious encounters. I think what may be contributing to this is by the time I get to Baldur's Gait, I've already got all the money I'll ever need and there's no point in looking in random chests or completing quests.

Hardest battle in BG1?

For me it was the demon in Ulgoth's Beard basement, Most of the other fights feel pretty simple but this one required several replays to figure out how to cheese him and his mage supporters.

Has anyone actually read the 75 page San Diego mosque shooters Caleb Vazquez/Cain Clark Manifesto?

There's been many articles about it but I believe few people have actually read it. It paints a picture of a highly intelligent autistic Caleb who's motivations are mixed and confusing. It seems that much like Eliot Rogers, what sent him down a dark path was being short, autistic and rejected by women, everything else was an outgrowth of that trauma. Cain on the other hand sounds like a follower, mirroring his opinions albeit less articulately. What's also interesting is they picked out 3 target locations (redacted) but only managed to engage with the first.
