Mini Tracker - (Beta?) Now Available
Hello everyone! I got a lot of interest in little tool I built for myself on my OnionsOS and I put some effort into getting this (hopefully) ready for others to use.
You can download the app here: https://github.com/k2-ant/mini-tracker/releases/tag/v1.0.1
- Basic instructions:
- Download the .zip folder & unzip
- Put the folder into your apps/ directory on the SD card.
A few additional notes:
- This is designed for Onion v4.3.1-1.
- It may work on other versions, but I've only tested on my own device.
- I've only tested on Miyoo Mini Plus but tried to prepare it for other screen sizes
- It works best if you have activity tracker, box art, etc. all prepared.
- The only thing it can potentially change is your FAVORITES, but this is a setting you can control. It's defaulted to off. (I turn it on - so my favorites list can basically be my "now playing" list)
- When you beat or abandon a game, you can rank it (I use a tier list). I do have a stats page where you can view your stats, your tier lists, etc.
- You can launch games directly from the app. This was a bit tricky to get right with GameSwitcher, but my tests all work good.
- Most of the code was developed via AI tooling (Opus 4.8 / Fable). If you don't like that, no problem. Just wanted to state it clearly so you can make your own call.
Have fun exploring! If there are issues, let me know or feel free to contribute to the project. I would love for others to get use out of this tool. It's been helpful for me.
I made a small app for OnionOS to try and actually beat backlog..
Was actually not that bad! And I'm pleased with how it came out. Now the real question is if I will actually make progress and beat some of these games. Only (1) beaten so far!
First Game Beaten!
Had never played Super Marioland on Gameboy. A unique Mario game, and not too long! Now will play the 2nd one.
Before and After
I was told by my plumber this would go viral.
