Not a car fix question. Just got a Yaris Cross couple of weeks ago and it looks like it needs a wash already. For automatic wash, a quick google suggests to put the car in N, and turn off all the sensors? Is it correct ?
What if I turn off the car with closed windows ? I surely can survive 10 mins in there, just a little of condensation.
Update: Contacted the dealer. Will bring the car for them to check.
Just bought an used JP import Yaris Cross Hybrid 2020 from a dealer. Couple of days passed, I suddenly got this message. The headlights and high beam work perfectly. I only got this message popped up at night. That’s probably why I didn’t pick it up when test drive. I already tried cleaning the sensor, the glass for the camera, but nothing work!
I got 1 year mechanic insurance with the dealer. My question is, has anyone got this message before and got it fixed? The dealer is like 30 mins away, so if I can fix it myself, I’d rather DIY.
Also, the insurance is Janssen. Can I just bring my car to any mechanic, get a quote and claim it or I need to bring my car to the dealer?

Ok, so fast forward a few years. Now it's 2026. Has anyone figured out a way to disable just the keyless entry, but still keep the smart start working ? I feel getting entry to your car without deliberately pressing unlock button is a bit unsafe. I feel pressing your fob against the button to start the car when the feature is disabled, is a bit stupid.
What am I missing? Can't I get the best of both worlds ??

I just got my XM4, upgraded from Sennheiser PXC 550 II. Totally loved it! The only thing is it creates popping sound on bumpy road when ANC is on. I found a solution on other posts by deceasing ANC level. It worked, but with a bit of sacrifice. Since I’m a regular bus rider, it’s a pretty big deal for me.
My question is, is it common for other ANC headphones? How’s about XM6, and the recent collexion?
I’m replacing an old oven. It has this type of flat head plug, which is 32A. The new one is a normal 10A plug. What options do I have? Is there some kind of adapter or I need a sparky to convert the 32A socket into 10A socket?

I have invested in Foundation Series US 500. I received a tax summary report each year, and still have no idea how they come up with the taxable income. I understand what a PIE fund is, what PIR is. I only pick up the remaster version. But from I saw from other posts, most of the bugs aren’t fixed. You would expect they learnt and listen to the gamers, but no.
Enermies appear suddenly when you load a save; No direction given after completing a mission, you have to reload the game to get the next mission, etc
There are also various “problems” that really bring the game down. I mean, who would possibly enjoy refuel the bike every now and then??! It’s a game, not a simulation! And don’t get me started on the annoying animations. Climbing the ladders is totally waste of time.
I honestly regret my purchase. What is the reasons that keep you playing this since there are ton of AA games out there?
How good is ANC on the Sony one as I have the Sen heiser one, it can’t even block the music from the guy at the end of a bus. I’m looking to upgrade to XM4, and I heard its ANC is superior, but how’s the real experience?
