Could Exar Kuns lightsaber have inspired the Inquisitor lightsabers

This is less of a literal question and more of a discussion over whether this could be a fun way to canonise one of Star Wars greatest legends.

You all know him, I’m sure. His saber and combat prowess is infamous. Designed to be overwhelming, focusing on rapid, one handed attacks and strength. His short hilted double blade being iconic for his spins and tight swordsmanship. One of the greatest duelists in SW history.

So what better weapon to give to your new squad of sith acolytes? Especially as the inquisitors blade removes the loose and dangerous drawbacks Exar favours in his weapon, basically idiot proofing the weapon. No inquisitor could make the most of a saber designed like that but the inquisitors blades are small double bladed sabers that spin.

I think it could be fun to explore or even just a throw away line as a nod to the character to say Palpatine chose those blades for the Inquisitorious as he wanted them to be able to easily overwhelm weaker Jedi which is what they were intended for anyway.
