Piet Mondrian's Composition (C) III on a hat
Hello everyone! I wish to not be removed for advertising but I thought it be cool to share. I want to share a cool project I worked on. This is Composition (C) III on a hat. Most people usually put Composition III, Mondrian's most famous of his works. But I felt if you put it on a hat, the center stitching will distort the red square. But with Composition (C) ooooh boy. Mondrian was extremely proportional with his geometric grid. There's this even ratio that's separated by 70% white space, leaving small patches of color pushed inwards than outwards with his later work.
Behind this hat is a reproduction of C.III and we can see in this comparison how a grid functions proportionate to symmetry. Compositions A and II are extremely chaotic and I think looks terrible on apparel on my opinion. What do you guys think?
