The Wealthy Pay the Most (in dollars, not necessarily rates) Because They Make the Most...

I always see the rebuttal to the assertion that "the wealthy should pay their fair share," citing that they pay more in total dollars than 95% of the tax base.

That is because they make that much more. If wealth were distributed more appropriately, and based on value provided, they would make less, and pay less.

Wealth is currently not paid appropriately or based on value, but comparative accessibility. That is basic economics.

As I explained to a coworker, "if you thought that tea was better than the price, or that you got great gas mileage out of your car, would you send the company more money?"

Wages are the same way. Companies pay people what they can get away with (depending on how much a company cares about their turnover rate).

Everyone knows this. So acting like productive employees are acting like parasites is pretty much gaslighting.

So sad to see the state of regular capitalists today, who you'd think would be fighting for their own self-interest for higher wages, but instead have become corporate cucks.

And I am not a socialist, but a capitalist who doesn't want to get ripped off...more of those should exist.

So, are you a capitalist, or are you a cuck?

And btw I block toxic illiterates who start stupid arguments for not having a life. So save your breath. Or don't idc. Eat shit and have a nice day.

Totally fine to disagree. People here have and I can tell they actually read and retained what I said and they responded in a constructive manner. Not that hard.

New Data Center Equivalent to Setting Off 23 Nuclear Bombs Per Day, Professor Finds

This article is beyond disturbing. The question seriously needs to be asked though, is it time to start rationing, and/or taxing, or raising the price of data usage?

Of course, I am saying this while using data. But yea, I would rather have data work like going over your minutes than pretending cause and effect doesn't exist.

We don't have to be such an invasive and destructive species. That is a choice.

So much BS fluff content online too. Not worth it.
