I went ahead and got the ghosts set up on my etsy shop. I did create a variation to offer them as a cake topper. But now I'm worrying they are too plain... Should I change it up to add more detail, like little faux flowers on the hill version at least?
I am greatly enjoying the Uber cuteness of how these lil ghostees turned out. I'm considering making them a pre-order but have never done one before and am not really sure how that should go 🤣 Has anyone do it before?
I had some lifting right before I went on a trip so I got my efile out and took off the gel overlay so I could try to do something before I left the next day. Not enough time to get an appointment somewhere. I notice in my nails have these half circle shapes and realized I believe this is from the her filing with the efile and going too deep on my nail bed. Thats what this looks like correct? Its obvious where it happened 3 times and the growth between each time. So now im thinking shes not doing a great job right? I shouldn't have this obvious damage on my nail bed right? Its almost every nail. I feel bad cause I like her but I don't want my nails damaged
Just finished this sculpture for my Grandmother for her birthday. She's gonna get a woot out of it lol. Im thinking of weathering the sign up a bit. What do you all think?
Oh I'm so angry about this AI slop being passed off to get sales for needle felted items! This new shop I found is averaging 11 sales A DAY! That is NOT possible! As a needle felter you can not be keeping up with that demand without assistance. Which they claim all items are handmade by them in Wyoming. Meanwhile a few negative reviews mention customs packaging. Hm, interesting. The even more baffling part is that people seem happy with these lackluster products that don't match the thumbnails! HOW DOES THIS PERSON HAVE 4.9 STARS!?!? 2,534 sales in 7months is not possible for one person who is claiming they make it all themselves. Also their profile picture looks seriously AI generated too. I think this is a company pretending to be a person selling and then drop shipping or getting other people to create these in low unlivable wage standards. There must be something to be done about this. But will etsy care since they are a high ranking shop based on this stupid amount of sales in 7 months!? I'm so fricking frustrated!
Slowly making progress on this new project. I decided to have fun animating the eyes 😂 Being a graphic designer pays off for fun things like this sometimes. Im still debating if these are the final eyes. I made about 10 pairs to try out. 🤣
I made these Stab guards, as I call them, for myself a while ago and they work so well that I use them pretty much with every project. They've saved my fingers A LOT! I thought other people might be interested in them so I've got them on my etsy store now :) Just wanted to share, especially after seeing the thread about all the poor pincushioned fingers we all share for this artform!
I created these love birds for my best friend's wedding 8 years ago. They are one of my favorite past creations. I have considered making more cake toppers. What other animals/things would make good cake toppers?
