How much access do real estate agents get to financials?

I’m looking to buy a house next year in NYC. The expectation is that I would hire a good friend of mine of 20 years to represent us.

However, the only caveat is that I don’t really want him having access to our financials. He’s part of a group of friends where I don’t really discuss finances. I don’t really want him to know how much money we have. I feel like it could leak to my friend group, who are not doing that well financially. Maybe they’ll see me differently or ask me to invest in their business ideas.

I’ve always downplayed how much money my wife and I have in savings, how much our household income is, my investments, etc. But we are multimillionaires through our income and some good investments. I’ve had friends, including him who’ve asked me in the past to invest in some business ideas. I played off like I don’t have the money for it.

So my question is, would my real estate agent friend get access to our savings information? Or our taxes? How many years back in our taxes will he ask to see?

I would like to hire him so he can get commission, but we’re also looking in a neighborhood he doesn’t have expertise in so that’s our excuse to not hire him.

But anyway, how does it usually work when buying a house?

How do I dispute a false delinquent payment under my name?

Basically there’s a false delinquent payment from like 3 years ago, under my name, and it’s destroyed my credit. The delinquent payment actually belongs to a relative so I’m not sure how it’s attached to my credit report.

I tried disputing with TransUnion but they say it’s accurate information. I’m sure the company says it mine and that’s all they did.

Not sure what to do next to get this delinquent payment off my name. It’s preventing me from increasing my line of credit on my credit card.

If there’s a season 2 of Outlast The Jungle, how do you think the rules and challenges would/should be done differently?

After watching this season, I’d assume if there was another season of Outlast: The Jungle, most contestants would run to the Fire camp over Hunter and Shelter supplies. We see that not being able to make food or have warmth at night would be an immediate setback.

I think instead Fire camp should be replaced with Kayak/Fishing supplies, and either everyone gets ferro rods to level the playing field or the first challenge should be teams competing for them.

I also think there should be more challenges, with every challenge, the losing team(s) are either forced to vote out a member, lose/gain a supply, get certain food, tools, etc. The “prizes” can be different each time. But maybe not necessary, but it just seemed like most of the challenges in this season, didn’t really result in much.

Abby has to be one of the worst competitors on this show (Spoilers)

Only on Episode 7, but felt the need to rant.

Abby wanted an all girl’s team but didn’t hesitate to kick off Sarah and Morgan from Team Bravo.

Talks a good game but her swimming skills but couldn’t get to the crate/barrell despite teaming up with Ben who btw was significantly ahead of her. That competition was made for someone of her supposed “skills” and she was nowhere close.

Gets embarrassingly caught trying to steal a bow, making so much noise crawling to Team Alpha’s camp (I laughed so hard at that part. She just looked silly).

Don’t honestly know what she brought to the table for her to be here as long as she does. She’s completely useless. Morgan was right about her being a master manipulator. What happened with that “pact” Abby made?

EDIT: sorry, show is called Outlast: The Jungle.
