Basically the title. We’re planning a somewhat short notice trip to the beach the week of June 22nd.

2 adults, 2 kids(8yo and 13yo)

Where would you all recommend staying? In Myrtle itself or somewhere nearby like North Myrtle. We want to be close ish to the beach, and are looking for other activities to do while we’re visiting as well.

Basically the title, I’ve always been the guy that’s used cheaper combos(>$100) but my local tackle shop ran a BOGO deal on Ark Cobb 2.0 rods over the weekend so I picked up a spinning and casting rod.

Spinning - Ark “Kinda Shaky” - 7’1 Med, Extra Fast

Casting - Ark “Do All” - 7’3 Med Heavy, Fast

Just curious what reels yall would recommend for these rods. Looking to stay under $125-150each.

Edit: I plan to use both of them as “do it all” setups. I know that isn’t necessarily the best approach but due to budget constraints it’s what I have to work with.
