Need Playtester for Rabanaz - Balatro Inspired Indie Chip-based Roguelite Deckbuilder Game

Hey everyone 👋
I’m looking for playtesters for an upcoming indie roguelite deckbuilder called Rabanaz.

The game focuses on building and modifying chip-based systems where players experiment with different combinations to create unusual and sometimes unintended interactions.

We’re currently preparing for more structured playtesting and are specifically looking for players who enjoy:

  • finding bugs and edge cases
  • testing game systems and balance
  • experimenting with builds and combinations

There is already a demo available on Steam, which you can try right now as well.

If you’re interested in joining future playtests or helping us stress test the game, you can join our Discord below:

Thanks in advance to anyone who checks it out 👍

I’m working on a roguelite deckbuilder where chips replace cards and builds can completely break the scoring system

We're developing a small indie roguelite deckbuilder inspired by system-heavy games like Balatro.

Instead of cards, the game is built around chips that can be modified using upgrade tubes and other effects, allowing players to reshape how scoring works each run.

The focus is on discovering broken synergies, building absurd combinations, and pushing the system until unexpected interactions start appearing.

A lot of the gameplay ends up being about experimenting with setups that should not work, but sometimes create very unexpected results.

Rabanaz - Balatro Inspired Indie Chip-based Roguelite Deckbuilder Game

Hey everyone 👋

We're working on a small indie roguelite deckbuilder inspired by games like Balatro and other system-heavy strategy roguelikes.

Instead of cards, the game is built around chips as the core system, where you can modify them using upgrade “tubes” and other mechanics to completely reshape how scoring works each run.

The main focus is on:

  • discovering broken synergies
  • building absurd scoring combinations
  • experimenting with system interactions
  • and essentially “breaking the machine” in creative ways

We’re currently preparing a public playtest, and the demo is already available on Steam.

I’m mainly looking for players who enjoy:

  • Balatro-style build discovery
  • Slay the Spire-type strategy thinking
  • finding unintended but fun interactions

If this sounds interesting, I’d really appreciate feedback from this community, especially from players who like pushing systems to their limits.

Happy to answer questions or hear thoughts 👍
