Resources for kitten

We have a wild kitten in our neighborhood we are interested in taking in but we are low income. It’s starting to trust us with feeding, so I think we might be able to catch the baby soon. I’ve called a few animal places and they aren’t taking any cats in because of that hoarding situation recently. We have two cats, but one has a skin condition, so we are a little unsure of bringing the little one in the house because of the risk of worms, fleas, etc.

Basically what I’m looking for is a place that might have low income discounts and can keep them for a bit just to make sure meds take effect. We are calling them Gremlin for now 😻

Water from drinking fountain at McGraw Park made me sick

The other day I was out walking my dog at McGraw Park, and I stopped to get a quick drink. I let the fountain run for a couple of seconds to clear it out, because sometimes it tastes funky if you drink right away. I took two drinks, and it burned all the way down my throat. I turned around and threw up. My body rejected that water instantly. I'm not sure if maybe they had used some type of cleaner, but water shouldn't burn going down.

This is not the first time I've had issues. Over at Underwood Park, I had a similar incident, and the water tasted nearly the same, but not as strong as McGraw.

Can someone tell me why that's happening?
