I have permission to repost this via Mod Mail. Ended up being vetoed by Reddit because of link shortening. No idea who may or may not have seen it initially yesterday.

—————-

Keanison BullTerrier #80:

CPM-20CV. BNIB. Original Owner. Immaculate action, perfect centering. Absolutely delightful. I own #114 and carry it regularly. Purchased from JD Cutlery.

This is a price drop from my last post because I had new things I wanted to sell and was trialing a different album format for sales.

Price was: $1000
Price now: $850 firm

—————

Microtech Stitch:

M390. BNIB. Original owner. Partial serration. Literally removed for pictures. Has that ridiculous flip action but it’s just not my cup of tea. This thing could go to war and probably survive D-Day. Purchased from EKnives.

Price: $300

——————

McNees PM Mac2:

Magnacut. Cut and carried. Original owner. This was a daily carry for about a month, but let's be realistic, I'm in healthcare, so daily cut and carry is a bit of a stretch. It cut the occasional tape to open a box and twine that holds bulk sheets together when they're delivered lol.

Still has a factory edge. Still draws blood if that edge catches your thumb on the drop close. The distressed blue anodizing and blade finish make it look very good with hints of orange in certain lights on the skelly frame. Purchased from DLT

Price $425 Sold!

Thanks for looking and, as always, thank you Reddit denizens who allow me to fund other purchases!

[WTS][CONUS] Spring Thinning Part 2

Hi all! After my banger post (the BY, Takeda, and Kagekiyo), I have a couple of interesting pieces here that for the most part are BNIB with exception of one.

Yoshimi Kato AS 240mm KU Cherry Handle- Used Once. Classic Sanjo Geometry. Definitely a “Squash” knife in that it has the robustness and heft to handle dense produce without issue. Has a special place in my heart as during that single use it was the first knife to “bite” me 😂.

Paid $650
SV $575

Konosuke Madei Sumiiro Madei 210mm- BNIB. Too short in the height for my bear paws. Did a paper test, is an atom splitter. It’s a SLD Nihei (similar to a Yoshikane) masquerading as a Konosuke. Comes with the quality you’d expect.

Paid $340
SV $275

CKTG Budget Tanaka x Kyuzo (Yauchi) B1 165mm Santoku Rosewood- BNIB. It’s the Hitohira TxK under Kyuzo’s real name Yauchi Tsuyoshi/Takeshi. Has a slight imperfection at the heel (a burr). It’s the same line as my gateway knife which was a B1 210mm Gyuto in the same line. Still one of my favorites to this day. I bought a bunch of knives from this line after falling for the Gyuto. I have since downsized quite a bit since I wasn’t using them.

Paid $260
SV $225

Yu Kurosaki Senko Ei SG2 135mm Petty- BNIB. Very pretty petty. Too small for my mitts. Will make someone very happy.

Paid $210
SV $175

Any quick sales here will get shipped today. I’ll be leaving for the post office in the next 2 hours or so. (Folding knives are going out today).

Edit: there’s a big glare on the Konosuke. It has the inky black finish on the Kurouchi.

After Debating Buying Fun or Utility, I opted for All of the Above.

Previous RDX owner, went to a Ram a few years ago when my wife and I moved into our first home. With the current climate, I decided to opt for more stable gas mileage rather than the wild variations that trucks bring.

Debated on a Charger for a hot minute. Decided to come back.

Blaurock Blades BRB4 XL:

Second owner, purchased from TJ EDC off of Instagram. Outside of being flipped, I don’t believe either of us carried or cut with it. Immaculate action, RWL34 steel. I want the BRB6, so off this goes. DOB 8/8/2025. Centering perfect.

SV: $950 (what I paid)

Keanison Knives Bull Terrier #80:

First owner. I believe this one is CPM-20CV, though they can be S35VN. It was posted here about 6 months ago but the sale fell through at the last minute. Never cut or carried. I also own 114 which is my user. Nice anodization done by JD Cutlery. Centering perfect, glossy action.

SV $1000

Simeon Unto:

First owner. Custom order through Everyday Blades FB group. CPM154. Rugged construction. Never cut or carried. This is built to be a user and constructed like one. Tight tolerances, probably would withstand a bomb. Feels less refined than the others, but this is one I would bet my life on. Centering is good with arguably a very minor skew towards the show scale. Action is a little tougher, but I was assured it’s like Shiros in terms of break in.

SV $650 SPF Sold

Kansept Fenrir:

BNIB and sealed. I ended up with a duplicate when trying to purchase a “his and hers”. I bought both the purple and the silver, but they accidentally sent me two silver and a purple and was told to keep the spare. I have the duplicate out to show off the knife for this post. CPMS35VN Damascus.

SV $100 Sold

[WTB][CONUS/WW] Wishlist

Hi all!

I am in no hurry to buy and will wait for decent pricing and my specific desires before purchasing any of these items. Preference is to purchase CONUS but for the right items and prices, I will purchase WW.

Nothing larger than a 225mm please. BNIB or LNIB to the front of the line.

Manaka- I’m looking for specialty items. BokuENNs, Kageros, KokuENN, ENN, Rentetsu, etc. Gyutos and if anyone has a Nakiri/Chuka Bocho style, I would consider it.

Konosuke- FM in Aogami, Ktip FMs, MMs, WTs. Less likely for BNIB, but I’d be looking for best possible condition.

TnH- Suiboku is the goal. Will consider others.

Shigefusa Kitaeji- Gyuto only.

Sakai Kikumori- Ktip preferred, Choyo or other high end pieces.

Tetsujin- Metalflow Petty only. I’d love one of the Ktip ones.

These aren’t in any particular order. Obviously my funds aren’t unlimited, so if two parties were to reach out with two different knives and I decide I want one more than the other I’ll of course let you know and keep communication open.

Thanks for taking a look!

Healthcare worker in PA: missing work for snow isn’t really an option.

Looking at a 2026 AWD Charger R/T vs staying in a truck/SUV. I don’t care much about the fun factor here (I already know it will be); just looking for honest input on:

  1. Snow/slush performance vs an SUV/truck
  2. Ground clearance issues
3.Real-world “would you trust it to get to work no matter what?”

Running proper winter tires is assumed.

Would you do it again in PA, or go back to an SUV?

**Takeda NAS 210mm Gyuto- ** Minimal use. One dinner prep, two garlic mincing sessions. Less than an hour of actual board time. Factory edge. I see the appeal, but it’s just not my style. Maybe I’ll revisit at a later date. Never sharpened or stropped.

Purchased for about $600 after taxes. **$old** out the door.

**Kagekiyo W1 210mm with Red Aragoshi Lacquered Handle- ** Light Use, saw two dinner preps and a pepper slicing fiesta that I actually showed during my NKD post about it a year or more ago. As is traditional of White steel, it patinas immediately and aggressively. Factory edge. Never sharpened or stropped.

Came from Miura in Japan. Paid about $500 after everything to get it. **$old** for y’all.

**Konosuke BY B1 225mm- ** BNIB. Factory fresh. Never used, sharpened, stropped, nothing. I bought this as a spare, thinking it was a White steel to match my user. Ended up with a blue steel. This one has more mid weight dimensions. It’s a tad heavier and a tad thicker in the choil than my W. I opted to store it to save for when I am eyeballing something else. That time is now.

I paid $636 after taxes. Shipped to your door? **$old.**

I have references, both here, KKF, and Knife Swap (for folders). If I know you and we’ve done business before we can arrange payment however you prefer. If not, PP G&S is all I’ll accept.
