Anybody got any fics where the main bad guy decides to take out the hero early before they can become a threat to them.

Examples would be like Voldemort trying to kill Harry when he's young. Or a demon lord appearing before the hero as soon as they start their journey and taking them out there?

Like if your playing an RPG and are just starting out in the tutorial area and for some reason the final boss appears and proceeds to one shot you and ends your journey before it even begins.

Anything out there like that?
