Im scared. Is this forever?

Im a 20 year old male. I got sick little over 2 weeks ago, nothing major just a simple cold. Today it’s been exactly two weeks that I hear worse on my left ear and it has been feeling full as if underwater. A few days ago I started hearing a permanent ringing. I was told that it’s Etd and tinnitus like ringing. I read that it’s supposed to resolve within 2 weeks. Now it’s still not gone and I’m scared of permanent damage. I have a flight in 3 days and that adds additional fear. I had an appointment at a ear/throat/nose doctor and he said it’s infection caused Etd and just gave me nose drops.
I’m so worried please anyone tell me advice, the past 2 weeks have been hard on me. What can I do?

Surfing in Bali

What’s up guys. I wanted to get a quick opinion from some of you more experienced surfers. Basically me and my friend want to go to Bali this summer and want to include a week of surfing.

I wanted to ask if I should just rent a board (if so what kind) or if I should get an instructor because of whatever reasons and get some general advice about surfing in Bali.

So far I’ve surfed a week in Portugal last summer and after that in Morocco in January for a week aswell. In Portugal obviously I had a teacher since it was my first ever session. In Morocco however i technically also had a group teacher but I basically only caught waves myself and did better than in Portugal. Surfline was saying medium to good conditions mostly 3 to maybe 4ft waves.

I was using a 7ft 6‘ soft board in Morocco. In Portugal the normal beginner boards.

So what would you recommend and advice me to do and or pay attention to in Bali?

Thanks a lot in advance and have a great day

How rapid is it?

7 months ago vs Today, same length, same lighting same everything.
My mom is calling me (20yo) a loser for even considering medical treatment like Mynoxidil or Finasteride. And I’m cautious to of finasteride especially and I only consider low dose topical fin with normal minoxidil. This hairloss is weighing hard on my mental health at this young age considering how insecure I’ve been in the past about my looks. Maybe I’ll have to embrace being how I am, but right now it hurts. I need words of advice from people who’ve been through this.
