I am an Indian Passport holder with German Residence Permit. I am planning to book this flight. However, I am unsure about the transit visa.

I tried calling Sun Express. They told me that they cannot confirm if I need transit visa or not, and that I must ask Turkish Embassy. However, they did inform me that my check-in bag would be transferred directly to Abu Dhabi.

I tried contacting the embassy in Berlin who asked me to check with the Consulate in Stuttgart. While I am awaiting the answer, just wanted to check with you guys.

I have 3 hours of layover in Izmir. I want to know if I need a transit visa for this flight booking.

I called the airlines and they informed me that I need to ask Turkish Embassy and that they cannot confirm anything. But they did inform me that my luggage would be transferred to Abu Dhabi directly, without re-check-in. I do not plan to leave the Izmir Airport.
