Ciao a tutti! Sto avendo un problema che mi sta facendo un po' impazzire, ho creato dei thread sui sub inglesi, però spero di trovare aiuto anche qui 🙏🏻.

Specifiche tecniche:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

GPU: AMD 7900 GRE

RAM: 2x16GB DDR5

Mobo: Asus TUF B650 Plus

Sto avendo un po' di problemi col PC. Tutto è iniziato con il software AMD che mi avvisava che i driver erano crashati e avevano problemi. Così ho provato ad aggiornarli, ma durante l'installazione il PC si è riavviato da solo (cosa che non aveva mai fatto prima durante un update dei driver).

Ho fatto qualche ricerca e ho provato a usare DDU per rimuovere completamente i driver e fare un'installazione pulita.

Sembrava andare "abbastanza" bene. Con i driver di base che installa Windows riuscivo a usare il PC e a giocare a titoli come Genshin e Tekken, ma non a Battlefield perché richiedeva driver più recenti.

Ho riprovato ad aggiornare, ma ho avuto di nuovo problemi durante l'installazione. Dopodiché, mentre giocavo, ho notato che le texture non caricavano correttamente e c'erano altri glitch grafici. Ho pensato che la mia GPU mi stesse abbandonando e ho deciso di fare il reso della mia 7900 GRE.

Nel frattempo, giusto per usare il PC per le cose basilari, ho deciso di collegare il cavo (prima DisplayPort, poi HDMI) direttamente alla scheda madre per sfruttare la scheda video integrata del processore.

Da lì, ho iniziato ad avere schermate nere con righe arcobaleno.

Riuscivo a usare Windows solo in Modalità Provvisoria, ma il giorno dopo ha iniziato a crashare anche lì, portandomi direttamente nella schermata blu di risoluzione dei problemi.

Ho pensato che Windows avesse fatto qualche casino irrecuperabile con i driver, quindi ho formattato tutto da zero.

L'installazione è andata liscia, ma appena finita la configurazione di Windows, di nuovo schermata nera e righe arcobaleno.

Ho provato a cambiare monitor e fa lo stesso difetto; ho provato cavi diversi (1 DisplayPort e 2 HDMI) e non cambia nulla. Ora però sono riuscito a fare un "Ripristina driver" da Gestione Dispositivi, mettendo la Scheda video di base Microsoft, e così sembra funzionare tutto bene senza crash, se li rimetto, anche gli ultimi, freezer/crash o reboot.

Ora un amico mi ha prestato la sua vecchia 1060 e tutto fila liscio. Da lì ho fatto un ultimo test, ho riavviato il PC ma collegando l'HDMI alla mobo, ecco che va in freeze, stacco l'hdmi e lo metto sulla 1060, ecco che a schermo tutto va liscio e zero problemi.

Cosa potrebbe essere? Driver? Gpu integrata morta? Ho avuto la sfiga di avere entrambe le GPU morte?

Non sono un grande esperto di troubleshooting hardware e non so davvero più dove sbattere la testa. Qualsiasi aiuto è super apprezzato!!

I'm having some issues with my PC, everything started by AMD software telling me the drivers crashed and had problems, so I updated the drivers, but by doing it the PC rebooted by itself (it has never done it before while updating the drivers).

I've done some research and I tried to use DDU to remove the drivers completely and start again.

Everything was kinda ok, with the base driver windows installs, I could use my PC and play some game like Genshin and Tekken, but not Battlefield because it wants some newer driver.

I tried to update again, but still problems during the update, after that, while playing I noticed the texture didn't load properly, and other glitchy stuff, so I thought that my gpu was dying and decided to refund my 7900 gre.

In the meanwhile, just to use my PC for basic stuff, i decided to plug the display Port first, then hdmi, to my mobo, so i could use the integrated gpu of my cpu.

But then, i started having black screen with Rainbow line.

I could only use Windows in safe mode, but the day after, even in safe mode it crashed and go into the Blue screen of troubleshooting.

So i thought Windows fucked up the drivers or something. I reformated it.

Everything went smoothly, but after finishing the windows configuration, again black screen and rainbow lines.

I tried swapping monitor, same problem, different cable (1 Display Port and 2 HDMI), seems the same, but now I managed to revert the driver in the managed devices, so now I have the base Microsoft driver, it seems working completely fine.

What could be the problem? I'm becoming crazy :(

I'm not very tech about hardware troubleshooting, and I'm feeling lost. Any help is appreciated!!

Could it be the RAM? Or what else?
