I just finished the main story of korean novel Sweet (Daldal) and I thought it was sooo good!!!
It's a dark romance, trigging warnings, SA
But if that doesnt bother you I actually found it very romantic in the sense I could FEEL them falling in love.
Translation is also amazing
ML is VERY cold like psychopath level
MC is naive to the extreme, ( he has good reason) but I loved him he's adorable.
If your taste is an obsessive,possessive ML (top) who literally only has eyes for the MC (bottom) this is one of the best I've ever read. I'm on to the side stories now!!

I just finished book 3 and I'm just not motivated to keep reading. I cant put my finger on why. I have found every arc interesting, and I definitely don't dislike it, I just dont have the feeling like im super Into it and cant wait to keep reading.
I know that Mo Ran is supposed to "hate" Chu Wanning and that its a slow burn, but their relationship is just not compelling to me.
I don't want to miss out on it being an amazing book if I drop it now. Does book 4 pick up with the chemistry or do you think if Im not into it by now its just not for me?

This is kind of a weird question and I know I just need to buckle down and read the novel, but I have put off reading Meatbuns novels (I even have several volumes purchased)
The reason being because I've heard at least in BAB and Erha that the ML (gong) is in love with someone else first besides the MC
My favorite trope is the ML (or gong specifically ) is head over heels, secret crush, yearning, obsessive etc etc. So theres something about knowing they are in love with someone else thats putting me off. Does this even make any sense lol. Like shouldnt there be some kind of love with the MC from the start if they are their true soulmate.
Can someone tell me that them being in love with someone else isn't that big a deal to the story so I can just get out of my head!!
