Great add to my collection.

Movie: A great movie from the acting to CG to the story and science behind it all.

3D: This holds up as a solid 3D viewing. A majority of the movie had good depth. Some scenes were obviously better than others. Did the 3D add to the movie? Yes, there were times where watching in 3D helped the experience more than just being cool. Panning out on the Mars landscape really gives the feeling of loneliness and the 3D in space helps show the lack of gravity and spatial distance.

Overall: great buy

My first watch, quick review:

Movie: it was ok. Some of the actors were decent, others not so much. The plot was missing something. I’m not sure what, but I felt like it was basic or missing something.

3D: no pop out (this is rare). Not much depth either. A majority of the movie I didn’t feel like I was watching a 3D movie. There’s a moment here or there with depth, but in general there wasn’t much there at all. I actually had to make sure I had the 3D version in.

Summary: Don’t buy. This is the worst 3D I’ve ever watched. I was disappointed as I was looking forward to this one.

Never heard of Puzzle Guy but I’m excited to try something new. Ice Cream Headache was a local band in with an album in 96 & 98 and I was excited to find their first album on tape. Very rare!
