Jokes aside, since I'm kind of broke, I really got into kitbashing early and I figured I could maybe, just maybe recreate Huron's retinue and the big man himself with proxies.

I just need some armor plates and weapons.

Long story short, I got a bunch of different things from collecting and painting, and I just figured "hey, maybe I got enough for a 1000 points army". According to this online army list builder, I'm indeed above the 1K amount, without taking any options.

Not all of them are based, some are proxies and I'm not interested in competitions, it would mostly be for small games. I might plan to get more (Daemon Prince for example, either using a Morghast or a Centaurion Marshal), but I don't plan to go all the way to 2k. I have decision paralysis and, while I have experience building lists in other systems, 40K is slightly different to what I usually play (OPR, Mordheim, Greathelm...) so my head gets really confused with what option and thing I should pick. I'm painting them Red Corsairs because I don't like taxes and they fit the idea for my custom warband (The Ashen Herd, turning abhumans against the empire and working with xenos, so more beast themed), I'm guessing Renegade Raiders would be the best fit. I just have a bit of everything, so I'm hesitating like crazy.

So yeah, you guys know what you're doing. Is there any amount of synergies in what I have ?

Got both those minis of the month, and I feel like this gives me an opportunity to make a xeno member of my warband. Maybe the one leading my ratboys ?

But with the sprues I have, I don't want to mess it up and go back on my choices, so I need to plan. Here's where you're coming in. You people are really good with kitbashes, so are there some combinations you can think of ? I think the Chorf shoulderpads could be on the coat, the Chorf armored hands would hold the gun, switch head...

I know the Enforcer is a Tarellian, so there is an in-universe xeno presence in a Chaos Warband, but are there other instances of xenos serving alongside Chaos ? Would Kroots join them if it meant a good chance at a greater genepool (the ones not tainted by Chaos, so whoever they're fighting) ? Could a Sslyth be hired or do they only serve Drukharis ?

My warband is going to be themed around abhumans (Bulltaurs as Chaos Bikers, that sort of thing) and I would like to get some xenos in there to add some variety, even if it's just one model and not a full range (already got those covered).
